John Neufeld is the CEO of the Lyle S. Hallman Foundation, bringing more than 25 years of experience in community leadership and social impact. Known for his thoughtful, strategic, and collaborative approach, John previously spent 16 years as CEO of House of Friendship, leading innovative efforts to meet the needs of the region’s most vulnerable neighbours. His earlier work with foster children and youth at Bridgeway Family Homes sparked a deep commitment to prevention and early intervention—core pillars of the Foundation’s mission.

John holds a BA in Social Development Studies from the University of Waterloo, an MBA from Wilfrid Laurier University, a degree in Theology from Canadian Mennonite University, and a Master of Social Work from the University of Toronto.
